Is Dairy Farming Cruel To Cows?
Can “humane” dairy farms really exist, when dairy is only made possible by separating mothers from their babies? NO.
Cows only produce milk when they are pregnant or have recently given birth. This means that farms take newborn babies from their mothers in order to sell their milk for profit.
In the words of Animal Outlook President Erica Meier, “Some farms might be less cruel than others, but there is no such thing as cruelty-free milk.”
