Throwback to our 2009 investigation of Cal-Cruz chicken and duck hatchery, uncovering shocking animal abuse. This prompted Santa Cruz County Animal Services to do its own investigation and rescue 88 ducklings. We sued Cal-Cruz and won a settlement that ensured the hatchery's permanent closure. And here are some of the ducks living their best life at Farm Sanctuary
