Animal Equality's team in Mexico has introduced a new initiative that will recognize animal sentience in Nuevo León, Mexico. The approval of this bill would help protect more than 42 million animals killed for food in the State. 🐷🎉

Animal Equality’s determination with similar bills has paid off with the recent victory in Hidalgo, which became the first state in Mexico to legally protect farmed animals.
