🚨BREAKING INVESTIGATION🚨: We recently investigated 18 live animal markets in the San Francisco Bay Area, where we documented many instances of what we believe to be animal cruelty.
In these live markets, turtles and frogs are kept in plastic containers with no water and are sliced up alive. Fish are relegated to cramped tanks, where some of them languish with untreated injuries and eventually die. Fish who don’t die in the tanks are pulled from the water and often hit multiple times with blunt instruments in an attempt to stun them before they’re cut open in front of customers.
We showed our footage to members of the community and they agreed that animals shouldn’t be treated in this cruel manner. Make a difference and take animals off your plate #GoVegan.
