Animal Equality Protests Bank Of America’s Partnership With Compass Group Cruelty
On Tuesday, Animal Equality supporters brought images of suffering mother pigs to a Bank of America in Austin, Texas to protest their partnership with Compass Group. 💪🐷
In July, we launched a campaign against Compass, the world's largest food service provider. The company committed to banning the extreme confinement of mother pigs 10 years ago, but it lied! Compass abandoned its promise, forcing mother pigs to continue living in crates barely bigger than their own bodies.
We are stronger together❗️🙌 With your help, we sent thousands of emails and tweets to Compass demanding it keeps its commitment. We reached out to some of their major clients, like Google, Nike, Boeing, and Bloomberg to ask them to break ties with this cruelty. And then we gathered in front of Bank of America, a client of Compass, in Austin, TX to ask them to use their influence to demand the company keep its promise.
