Last week, Animal Equality delivered 100,000 signatures to Mexico's Congress to show support for an initiative to protect animals under the country's Constitution. 👏

Currently, animal protection laws are determined by local and state governments. This creates inconsistencies across the country that make enforcement difficult, meaning it's harder to hold animal abusers accountable. The Constitutional change we are proposing would give Congress the power to create animal protection laws that supersede these laws so we can better protect farmed animals.
