Animal Equality Protests Denny’s On Las Vegas Strip
✨👏 Thank you, Las Vegas!
💙 We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in Animal Equality’s 24-hour protest in Las Vegas over Mother's Day weekend.
🔹 Dozens of protesters gathered for several hours on Saturday and Sunday to speak up against the extreme confinement of mother pigs. During the protest, we stood beneath the iconic neon lights of Denny's flagship restaurant on Fremont Street as a mobile billboard drove up and down the Vegas strip for nearly 19 hours, displaying a photo of a pig trapped in a metal cage.
💔 More than ten years ago, Denny’s committed to eliminating the 7-by-2-foot cages. Despite our strongest efforts, Denny's has yet to take action, but we will continue to fight until these innocent animals are protected: animalequality.org/news/dennys-protest-on-las-vegas-strip/
🚨 Looking for ways to help? Here are a few actions you can take RIGHT NOW:
📞 Call Denny’s Customer Service and express your frustration with the animal cruelty they are allowing for pregnant mother pigs: 1-800-733-6697 (press 1)
✍️ Leave reviews for your local Denny’s diner
📲 Comment on Denny’s social media pages
🌱 If you’ve already done this, however, you can still take one final step for mother pigs. By replacing animal products – like meat, dairy and eggs – with a colorful range of plant-based foods, you can stop corrupt chains from profiting from animal abuse. Visit LoveVeg.com today!
