Since 2004, Animal Outlook's Legal Advocacy Program has been a force for justice in the animal agriculture industry. In 2023 alone, our legal team achieved incredible milestones:
🐟 Took on Maine’s Department of Agriculture to defend fish in the growing aquaculture industry.
🐖 Teamed up to safeguard California’s Proposition 12 against the pork industry.
❤️ Called out the American Heart Association for its questionable use of the “Heart-Check” on certain meat products.
🐔 Exposed the dark truth behind Ventilation Shutdown Plus (VSD+) on Iowa farms during a bird flu outbreak.
🎮 Challenged a deceptive dairy campaign targeting Gen Z gamers through a Federal Trade Commission complaint.
