Today we are launching a global campaign urging organisers of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games to permanently remove foie gras from its menu.
🌱 The Olympic Committee has already pledged to serve 60% of its dishes plant-based this year, a great step forward for animals! BUT foie gras is a divisive and incredibly controversial product - it cannot be allowed on the menu.
Foie gras is produced through the practice of force-feeding - this harmful practice is already banned in several countries because of the harm it causes to animals.
