An investigation by Animal Equality exposes cruelty to rabbits raised for meat in Mexico. Investigators documented one rabbit farm in Querétaro and two in Mexico City.

The findings reveal abuse by handlers, severe overcrowding in cages, and slaughter without stunning. For the first time, it was recorded that rabbits, usually silent animals, scream out before their deaths.
