Mexico’s President Backs Constitutional Change To Protect Animals

💪 Mexico’s Chamber of Deputies–or lower house of Congress–unanimously approved reforms to bring animals to the Constitution in Articles 3, 4, and 73.

The bill now advances to the Senate, where final approval is anticipated by the end of the year. If passed, it will grant historic protections for animals in Mexico.
