🚨 Exposed: Illegal slaughter in India’s pig farming industry!

Between February and July 2024, Animal Equality’s investigators uncovered systemic abuse in pig farms, markets, and slaughter sites across four Indian states. Everywhere we looked, we found clear violations of animal protection laws.

🐷 Pigs beaten, tied up, and stuffed into bags.
🚛 Transported on rickshaws and scooters.
⚠ Illegally slaughtered in unlicensed facilities.

Animal Equality has submitted recommendations for stronger protections and launched a petition urging the Government of India to act.
