No, not really. Sarah DeRemer started creating hybrid animals as a way to improve her Photoshop skills. "I find it fun to mix animals, especially when it creates a startling juxtaposition such as a ferocious animal on a cute and tiny one."

Clockwise from upper left, here are some of Sarah's brilliant zoological creations: Green Bark Python, Red Pandow, Rankey, Hairless Pit, Peruvian Llioma and in the centre, the unmistakable Papillat.
