Cop Babysits Orphaned Kangaroo
An orphaned baby kangaroo is winning the hearts of the Internet after a video of the joey hopping head-first inside a cop’s t-shirt was posted online.
The 4-month-old joey named Cujoe was orphaned after his mother was killed in Western Australia. He was pulled from his mother’s pouch and handed over to police in the small town of Cue, several hundred miles northeast of Perth.
Constable Scott Mason, who’s just become a father himself, is looking after the baby ‘roo. As you can see in the video, Cujoe has grown quite attached to his surrogate “mom”. It's good to hear that Scott's working with a wildlife rescue organisation, as well; a full-grown kangaroo doesn't belong in a police station, so let's hope he's released when he's old enough. Meanwhile, though, enjoy this video!
Officer Mason is a hero to Cujoe. How about being a hero to farmed animals? You can, you know. Just eat fewer of them. We make that easier at http://KindMeal.my, where we offer some great promotions on meat-free meals.
