Corals Losing Color to Global Warming
The Great Barrier Reef is turning white; something called coral bleaching that happens when water around the reef gets warmer, all thanks to global warming. Rising temperature turns coral white. White corals are unhealthy, they are vulnerable to disease and death.
Apart from losing their physical appeal for snorkelers, it impacts the reef's 1500 fish species. Scientists have already identified bleaching in 95% of the northern Great Barrier Reef.
There is no time to lose. We need to work together now to end global warming. We can help save corals by dining on more meat-free meals at http://KindMeal.my. A meat-free diet has much less carbon footprint, thus effectively reducing global warming.
