Pika — China's Adorable "Magic Rabbit"
This adorable creature is called ’Ili Pika’ (Ochotona iliensis), and it’s one of the rarest, most endangered species on the planet.
Conservationist Weidong Li first discovered the Ili pika in 1983, and it was only 20 years later that a distant relative of this rabbit was spotted again in China’s Tian Shan Mountains. Oddly enough, this time it was seen by none other than the very same Weidong Li.
