Happy Cows At German Sanctuary
Cows love freedom, just like us humans. Here's a heartwarming video that shows how happy the cows are, bouncing in joy as they enjoy a good run on the field, grazing some fresh juicy grass.
They are one lucky herd indeed. These former dairy cows in Germany were destined for the slaughterhouse as their farmer could no longer sustain them. Dairy cows past their productive age are generally slaughtered for meat.
Fortunately, these cows were rescued by a group of kind-hearted people, where an association “Kuhrettung Rhein-Berg – Lebenshof für Tiere”(Cow Rescue Rhein-Berg – Sanctuary for Animals” was established at Bergisches Land, near Cologne.
This sanctuary continues to grow with public sponsorship, where cows live in familiar surroundings under good welfare conditions, until the natural end of their lives.
Did you know that cows are the largest contributors of global warming with the methane gas released? If you would like to see happy cows and a beautiful environment, do consider reducing meat consumption. Begin your tasty meat-free journey at http://KindMeal.my
