Big Hug's latest meatless burger is known as the Cheesy Mushroom Burger. You can choose between a charcoal or sesame bun. It's piled high with lettuce, tomatoes, assorted mushrooms deep-fried in what seems like the VFC (Vegetarian KFC) coating, a fried egg and lots of cheesy sauce. It was acceptably tasty, but very messy to eat. Ha ha!
I ordered a set meal that included some thick cut fries (a bit tough and tasteless) and free-flow soft drinks. There was lime juice at the free-flow station, so I opted for that as I don't take carbonated beverages. The lime juice was from a cordial mix and was very sweet.
The restaurant is nice and cosy with plenty of cute teddy bears (including two really huge ones) to keep you company. Service was fast and friendly. It's quite popular among the uni/college crowd.
The full price for the set meal is RM 21, so the 30% KindMeal discount definitely helps to make eating here more affordable!
