As far as I know, it's (vegan ricotta) not sold in Malaysia. The brand is "Tofutti" (http://www.tofutti.com/dairy-free-cheeses/). They've got several products. I've also tried the Better Than Cream Cheese, which is great to be added into creamy pasta, or as a substitute to cream cheese for making vegan red velvet cake, or just eaten with a slice of bread/crackers) and the cheese slices - also bought from Australia. They do sell vegan slice cheese here but it's very expensive (RM20+ per pack of 12 slices).
Haha Siew Khian, just a very simple dish I made for my boy & I - with macaroni, frozen mixed veges, garlic, onions and vegan ricotta cheese for the cream, plus seasoning of vegetarian mushroom granules with sprinkles of mixed herbs for that fresh herbs taste :-)
Yes, Andy. Vegan cheeses are unfortunately rather pricey here, cos they're imported, and I think it's cos the demand is not high enough as well. Yup, I stocked up real good when I visited, and it's precious commodity for me! :-) it was SO exciting when I found them in their supermarkets!
